Stanley Engineered Fastening is expanding its presence in the city by renovating a 101,000-square-foot manufacturing facility on Liberty Court, where it will produce stud welding equipment under the Nelson brand, the company announced. Between that new facility and expansion of Nelson Stud Welding?s West Ridge Road headquarters, the city is expected to gain nearly 100 manufacturing jobs, another 130,000 square feet of manufacturing space, millions in investment and potentially $1.3 million in taxable payroll income, Mayor Holly Brinda said Wednesday.
